Last year saw many mini and MINI events up and down the country taking place to celebrate 50 years of the mini brand.

Sir Alec Issigonis, for his creation of
the classic mini in 1959, for without
his engineering abilities the BMW
variant would never have been born

In November 2008 the 3rd Manky Thrash Run was attended by some 25+ MINI's.

New MINI Scotland was selected as the club website of the month in MiniWorld Magazine's Webwatch in 2003 and since then the site has grown and grown whilst maintaining a healthy member base

With the start of the 2010 MINI racing calendar looming there will be plenty of action to keep the NMS faithfull excited about.
