ABERDEEN SOCIAL MEET :: 02:03:03

The NEWMINISCOTLAND Club's 3rd Social Meet saw 9 MINI's met up in Montrose for a scenic journey up to Aberdeen. Bonnie Scotland had planned out a route and once all thedrivers had been issued with their driving instructions we headed off North towards Stonehaven. The route then cut inland, sticking mainly to quiet B class roads, up through Netherley to Kingswells and onto our final destination, Dyce. Strange to note that it was the cars with sat-nav that seemed to wander off course slightly, although one nameless driver claims it was because he was following Monsta Mo Mini....

In Dyce we were met by another 3 MINI's (Shotgun, Keithp and Moonshine) and we gathered around the cars for a while chatting about the days run, comparing notes, modification tips and reminding Brian what it's like to be a MINI owner. To add insult to injury Keith turned up in his old MINI Hamish. He proceeded to console himself with beer...lots of it!

Zoooooom had organised an excellent lunch at the Dyce Airport Club and some additional entertainment, in the form of a pub quiz. Twenty mind-taxing questions later Willie M & Bpirie1000 waltzed (staggered) off with the winning prize.

We said our goodbyes and made our separate ways home, all having enjoyed another great MINI day out.
