There is an aftermarket option that does allow the key fob to operate the roof up / down on a Jaguar Convertible, although I obviously have not gone down that route, however if someone is doing it for a Jaguar, then there is bound to be someone doing it for the Mini - its a fairly simple piece of coding.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback, Mini have it as a feature of the car so I would think it would be safe to do?

Yeah, me also, maybe its a sensor or something. Im not overly fussed as it does enough with opening roof to "sunroof" setting and puts the windows down so cools the car. Thanks for your feedback as always
