THE BALLACHULISH RUN :: 27:10:02

Having been on the Cullen Run back in August I was itching to go on another run so I decided to organise my own seeing as nobody else was.

Things looked good and we had 13 cars signed up for the run. Unfortunately I hadn't accounted for the weather which had forced more than a few cancellations. However, come start time at Stirling Services, the weather had improved and we were left with 6 MINIs; Zoooooom and Brian traveled all the way from Aberdeen, Bonnie Scotland from Montrose, Double M from Dundee, Willie and Linda M from Falkirk, Eekster from Kirkcaldy and myself.

The route headed up through Doune, Callander, Tyndrum then on up through Glencoe to the Glencoe Hotel for lunch. It couldn't have been more spectacular with the snow capped mountains and the beautiful winter sunshine.

After a really nice bar meal and a chat it was back into the MINI's and up to Ballachulish to the tablet shop where we all paused to sample some of the mouth-watering tablet! After that we headed back down the coast road to Connel then back across to Tyndrum. At Killin we spilt into 2 groups, Myself, Eekster and Double M headed down to Kenmore, then onto Aberfeldy and over the moor to Dunkeld where we stopped to say out goodbyes.

Another great MINI Adventure completed.
